NATURAL DYED WOVEN TRIANGLE BAG 58 - DAWN
In the mountains, plants and trees grow freely. People gather them, dye and weave with them, using and mending the fabrics year after year. In Pangcah, "koleto^" refers to shoulang yam, rich in tannins and gum, traditionally used to dye fibers like fishing nets and cloth, making them stronger and more durable. Its color deepens with sunlight and use, gaining a luster that mirrors the passage of time.
The triangle bags, dyed with plants, have a natural, earthy texture. In the Kamaro’an Hualien Atelier, colors are slowly built up, waiting for the fire and the sun.
